Usage

A nutritionally complete and balanced formula that is clinically proven to promote catch-up growth in picky eaters. Suitable for children aged 1 to 10 years old who:

PEDIASURE is specially formulated to meet 100% or more of the NAS-NRC Recommend Dietary Allowances (National Academy of Science and the National Research Council) for protein, 28 essential vitamins and minerals for children 1 to 6 years of age in 1000 ml, and for children 7 to 10 years of age in 1300 ml.

PEDIASURE provides complete and balanced nutrition. It can be used as a nutritional supplement with or between meals, as an ingredient in recipes to help add essential nutrients to your child's favorite meals and snacks, or as a sole source of nutrition as directed and supervised by a doctor. Milk-based, complete and balanced nutrition for a balanced distribution of protein, fats and carbohydrate to help your child’s growth and development needs.

Added with Synbiotics, a combination of Probiotics (Bifidobacterium lactis and L.acidophilus) and FOS (fructo-oligosaccharides) to support good intestinal health. Probiotics are good bacteria and FOS are food for good bacteria in the intestines. A healthy gastrointestinal tract is important to support nutrient digestion and good immune system.

Well-absorbed fat blend containing high oleic sunflower oil, soy oil and medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which are precursors for DHA and AA, an important component for brain development. Sunflower and soy oils are beneficial to children because they provide both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, and are rich in the essential fatty acids linoleic acid and linolenic acid (which are required for the natural synthesis of DHA and AA for brain development).

No trans fatty acids.

With MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides), a form of fat that is more easily absorbed and digested compared to normal fats.

Caloric density of 1 kcal per ml (50% more calories than normal milk) to meet increased energy needs.

Calcium:phosphorus ratio that meets AAPCON's (American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Nutrition) recommendation to support skeletal growth and maintenance of mineral balance.

Fortified with carnitine and taurine. Carnitine is important for fats metabolism. Taurine plays a key role in body function. It facilitates retinal function and normal bile acid metabolism and may support normal brain development.

For oral or tube feeding.

Gluten- and lactose-free. (Not for children with galactosemia.)
